Description
Explore the underpinning skills and knowledge required to prepare for and provide medication assistance, and complete medication documentation. This course aligns with supporting a client to self-administer medication.

Entry Requirements and Enrolment Information
Pre-Requisites

Pre-Entry Requirements
Assist Ability Academy request students confirm any work placement arrangements to determine if you workplace is suitable for the unit of competency
LLND Test
Participants will undergo an enrolment interview to determine if a Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital (LLND) skills assessment is required to finalise their enrolment into the course.This is an AQF
Level 3-4 training product and LLND student support plans are available to assist learners.
Technology
Students are required to have a device with internet connection with a minimum of 8GB of RAM, video camera, microphone, and speakers.
RPL and CT
Participants are welcome to apply for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and Credit Transfer (CT) prior, however it is not recommended for a s ingle unit of competency enrolment. Speak to our team to confirm if this course is right for you. Refer to the student handbook for further information on the application process.
Online Learning
Students will be required to complete their theory modules through their individual student portal. Students are required to complete the pre-assessment activities before attending the face-to-face practical session or completing the workplace
assessment tasks.
Further Study Pathways
Students who successfully complete this training product may choose further study in the following qualification:
- CHC43121 Certificate IV in Disability Support
- CHC52025 Diploma of Community Services
Certification
Students who successfully achieve competency will receive an NRT, Statement of Attainment in:
